Scale Service Technician Trainee Opening
This is a challenging position where the right candidate will learn how to test, calibrate, setup and repair scales of all sizes, shapes and uses.
Basic Responsibilities:
Perform testing, calibration and repair of customers weighing equipment to ISO 17025:2005 standards and to include (but not excluding):
- Bench scales
- Retail scales
- Balances
- Floor scales
- Truck scales
- Hopper scales
- Tank scales
- Belt scales
This will be done with hand weights from .001 lb. to 100 lbs. of weights lifted at a single time as well as 500lb and 1000lb floor weights.
Requirements:
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 100 lbs. repeatedly
- Excellent driving record
- Good customer skills
- Good communication skills
- A desire to provide excellent customer service
- To want to become a certified, licensed scale technician
- Help maintain our companies A-1 reputation and help the company grow and improve
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office software
